Coordinating the Greek Localization of Owncloud
ownCloud is an open souce project for privte cloud access to your files through a web interface or WebDAV, desktop synch and much more. It’s a personal cloud storage like Dropbox and/or iCloud wich can run on your private server.
Currently supports file management, WebDAV access, share via public link, music streaming, users & groups, OpenID, LDAP, and in development are the desktop sync client, Android and webOS apps, server-server sync and plans existed for calendar synch, contacts synch, etc., file editing, versioning and recovery, encryption.
Installation has minimal server requirements, doesn’t need special permissions and is quick. ownCloud is extendable via a simple but powerful API for applications and plugins.
